School Year BeginsSchool Opens on Thursday, 28th August.
October Mid-Term Break
November Staff Training 		School Closed: Monday, 27th October – Friday, 31st October inclusive.
School Closed 11th November– Child Protection Staff Training
Winter Holidays
School will close on Friday, 19th December (1/2 Day) – School will reopen on Monday, 5th January 2026.
February Bank Holiday
Monday, 2nd February.

February Staff Training 		School Closed: Thursday 19th February – Friday, 20th February inclusive.
School Closed 25th February– Primary Curriculum Framework Staff Training Day 1
St Patrick’s DaySchool closed Monday, 16th and Tuesday 17th March.
Spring HolidaysSchool will close on Friday, 27th March (1/2 day). School will reopen on Monday, 13th April
May Bank Holiday
May Staff Training		School closed Monday 4th
School Closed 19th May– Primary Curriculum Framework Staff Training Day 2
June Bank HolidaySchool will close on Wednesday 27th May (2:10pm) and will reopen on Wednesday 3rd June
End of Year Summer HolidaysSchool closes on Friday, 26th June (1/2 Day) for the summer holidays.

NOTE Christmas, Easter and Summer Holidays: The school will close at 11.30am for a half day.

Contingency Arrangements:

In the event of school days being lost due to unforeseen school closures, the contingency arrangements may include either or both of the following:

1. The Easter Break may be reduced by up to 3 days

2. The summer break may be reduced to make up for lost time.

Parents will be given timely notification if these contingency arrangements need to be implemented.

Please Note:

Parents are actively discouraged from taking holidays outside the above schedule. The school is obliged, by law, to inform the National Educational Welfare Board when a pupil is absent for a total of 20 school days in one school year or where there is concern about a pupil’s attendance. There is a direct link between school attendance and pupil progress. Your co-operation with maintaining high attendance and punctuality is greatly appreciated. We look forward to another great year together.
