Important Dates:
| School Year Begins | School Opens on Tuesday, 31 August |
| October Mid-Term Break | School Closed: Monday 25th October – Friday 29th October inclusive |
| Christmas Holidays | School will close on Wednesday 22nd December – School will reopen on Thursday 6th January |
| February Mid-Term Break | School Closed: Monday 21st February – Friday 25th February inclusive |
| St Patrick’s Day | School closed Thursday 17th March and Friday 18th March |
| Easter Holidays | School will close on Friday 8th April School will reopen on Tuesday 26th April (Monday 25th is a Teacher Training Day) |
| May Bank Holiday | Monday 2nd May |
| June Bank Holiday | Friday 3rd, Monday 6th June and Tuesday 7th June |
| End of Year | School closes on Thursday June 30th for the summer holidays |

NOTE Christmas, Easter and Summer Holidays: The school will close at 11.30am for a half day.
Contingency Arrangements:
In the event of school days being lost due to unforeseen school closures, the contingency arrangements may include either or both of the following:
1. The Easter Break may be reduced by up to 3 days with the school remaining open on 11th, 12th and 13th April, if required.
2. The summer break may be reduced to make up for lost time.
Parents will be given timely notification if these contingency arrangements need to be implemented.
Please Note:
Parents are actively discouraged from taking holidays outside the above schedule. The school is obliged, by law, to inform the National Educational Welfare Board when a pupil is absent for a total of 20 school days in one school year or where there is concern about a pupil’s attendance. There is a direct link between school attendance and pupil progress. Your co-operation with maintaining high attendance and punctuality is greatly appreciated. We look forward to another great year together.
